When it came time to think about a cake for my son's first birthday, I fell into an internet spiral, trying to find a recipe that I thought I could make that would interest kids and adults and not be a disaster. In the end my decision was a fantastic one. I decided not to subject people to my inexperienced baking and get a professional. Lucy was so fantastic, she talked me through the rough ideas we had and made some very fun suggestions. In the end we got a great cake for a great price. When it was unveiled everyone clapped! I had hoped to have some to take home with me but alas it was all gobbled up. People talked about it for weeks afterwards! It was a great way to ensure everyone had a delicious time and I didn't have to stress the night before. Thanks Lucy!
