I'm Lucy.

I wake. I bake. You cake.


Lucy has been baking since she was old enough to hold a wooden spoon and beg to lick the bowl afterwards. Growing up cooking in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother sparked a life-long love of sweet treats, learning old family recipes and creating new ones. This combination of classic favourites and innovation is the secret recipe behind The Well-Rested Baker.

Lucy has trained in Patisserie at the William Angliss Institute in Melbourne and in Canada worked at Olive Et Gourmando, one of Montreal’s most beloved cafes and patisseries. .


She firmly believes that happiness is homemade, and usually has icing on it.
